Radius Inc. Announces Inc. 500, Best Workplaces Awards

KIRKLAND, WA--(Marketwired - August 21, 2014) - Radius Inc., a next-generation technology solution provider focused on the growing Internet of Things industry, today announced it has been named to the 2014 Inc. 500, ranking 418th among America's fastest growing companies. It is the debut of Radius on the annual list, highlighting revenue growth of more than 1,100 percent between 2010 and 2013. Radius also ranked in the top 10 for Washington-based companies.

"We are honored to be recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America," said Anders Brown, President of Radius. "The Internet of Things industry is exploding and we are excited to be growing right alongside it, helping our customers capture, manage and extract value from their growing volume of enterprise, industrial and operational data."

The Inc. 500 award comes right after Radius received the Puget Sound Business Journal's "Best Workplaces Award", recognizing the best workplaces in the Pacific Northwest. Radius received the Silver Medal (2nd place) award in the medium-sized business category at Safeco Field in Seattle, WA on August 14, 2014.

The Inc. 500 is an annual list of the fastest growing private companies in America. The companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2013. The companies of the Inc. 500 represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found in its entirety at www.inc.com/5000. The winners will also be featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
