Jitterbit Offers Fastest Cloud-Based Integration to Connect the World's Number One ERP Solution to More Than a Thousand Endpoints

Certified Jitterbit Harmony SAP Connector Empowers Businesses to Connect On-Premise and Cloud Solutions and Adds Support for SAP HANA

ALAMEDA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/30/14 -- Jitterbit, the leading provider of fast, agile integration solutions for the modern enterprise, today announced the release of the world's fastest enterprise-class cloud integration for SAP, the most widely used ERP solution on the planet. The new Jitterbit Harmony SAP Connector empowers organizations to streamline crucial business processes with SAP integration between SAP ECC, CRM, vertical applications, and more than a thousand enterprise endpoints, ranging from legacy on-premise software to the latest cloud-based solutions. Certified by SAP and running on Jitterbit's new, fully cloud-based Harmony platform, the SAP Connecter offers the fastest time-to-value integration -- averaging implementation time of ten days or less -- and includes support for SAP's new in-memory appliance, HANA.

The Jitterbit Harmony SAP Connector addresses a key market demand for SAP customers: According to a recent survey by HCL Technologies of 100 international businesses with more than $1 billion in revenue that use SAP, 45 percent said that integration with their existing solutions has been the biggest obstacle to incorporating new cloud technologies (Lack of budget and security and privacy issues were listed second and third.). Despite these challenges, a vast majority of the survey respondents (88 percent) want to take a "hybrid" approach, relying on the cloud and on-premise systems working in harmony. The new SAP Connector enables these companies to quickly and easily integrate and manage their on-premise and cloud applications, removing a major impediment to the greater adoption of cloud-based products and services.

"Businesses are clamoring to bring on new cloud technologies, but integrating them with existing solutions and on-premise systems in an efficient and secure manner has proved to be an enormous headache," said Jitterbit Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Andrew Leigh. "The Harmony SAP Connector will empower companies to embrace new technologies and realize amplified value from their existing applications by offering the only integration solution delivered on a unified cloud platform, which is both easy to use and quick to get up and running."

The new Connector is optimized for SAP customers from specific industries, including manufacturing, retail, automotive, high-tech, and oil and gas, empowering companies in these sectors to streamline critical business processes like customer service, quote-to-cash, and field service, breaking down departmental silos across the organization. Businesses will also be able to amplify the value of back-office SAP systems by connecting them with new technologies that leverage cloud, mobile, and social innovations, and the Internet of Things.

Dozens of Jitterbit customers, including Bayer, Kingspan, Mophie, Sika and Skullcandy have already unlocked new value from the SAP Connector. For example, the heavy-duty equipment manufacturer SPP Pumps Limited leveraged the SAP Connector to quickly integrate its remote field service application, ServiceMax, with its back-end SAP systems, empowering the company to move to 100 percent digital invoicing and field order processes that resulted in an immediate return on its investment.

"Jitterbit enabled us to move from time-consuming and error-prone paper processes to transform SPP to a fully digital operation," said Damian Hudson, head of IT at SPP Pumps. "Now, instead of having our field service engineers faxing hand-written visit reports and orders back to the office, Jitterbit links the engineers' iPads via ServiceMax with our SAP system, giving them the ability to immediately send inventory usage and hours utilized onsite to help streamline an invoicing process that used to take weeks down to a single day."

The Jitterbit Harmony SAP Connector is the only integration tool for SAP that runs on a unified, multi-tenant cloud platform, giving customers the agility, speed and support that only a true cloud-based service can provide. It offers complete IDOC, BAPI, RFC compatibility, and has been officially certified for SAP CRM and SAP ECC.

Jitterbit also delivers the fastest time-to-value integration, empowering businesses to reap the full benefits of connected applications in fewer than ten days. Its graphical "Clicks Not Code" interface lets the average business user set up and manage connections with the click of a button instead of relying on API specialists.
