Suppliers in China are about to start work on two new iPhones, according to an article from Bloomberg. The phones will have display screens 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches across, when measured diagonally – a major leap from the 4-inch displays on the iPhone 5S and 5C.  Read Original Content

The City of Portsmouth has announced the newly instituted downtown Portsmouth Parking Shuttle now has its own real-time tracking application. This new tool — which is both web-based and available as a mobile app — will allow shuttle riders to view the location of the shuttle bus in real-time.  Read Original Content

Gen-i and SAP and cloud solutions provider UXC Oxygen have formed a partnership to increase the uptake of SAP mobile solutions in New Zealand.  By way of the partnership, SAP consultancy and business partner UXC Oxygen, will provide customers Gen-i's ReadyCloud Mobility solution.  Read Original Content

Accenture recently conducted an online survey.  Of the 23,000 respondents, about 13,000 (57 percent) indicated they planned to purchase smartphones this year. Of the 13,000, about 6,250 (48 percent) indicated they'd rather buy phablets than conventional smartphones.  Read Original Content

China's Huawei Technologies Co. has launched a 4G LTE-enabled handset in Taipei recently. Apple’s iPhone 5 continued to be the most commonly used smartphone among UAE users in the first quarter of 2014, according to a Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.  The device was also named the country’s most popular smartphone in 2013 with a 2.8 percent market share- a figure that was sustained in Q1 2014.  Read Original Content

Online retail giant Amazon has recently marked its foray into the smartphone market with its newly announced Fire smartphone.
