Much of the technological innovation in IoT is centered on the protocols, standards, and applications needed to enable these new capabilities. Security, however, is largely an afterthought: businesses almost never design in security for the sake of protection. This talk will discuss the security and privacy challenges introduced by IoT and how developers can use security to gain a competitive advantage.

Freescale's own QorIQ and i.MX families will soon utilize the ARMv8 architecture in the Cortex-A57 processor, ARM's most advanced high-performance processor, and the Cortex-A53, the world's smallest 64-bit processor and ARM's most power-efficient.
