Mobile commerce company Mobally announced the release of its mobile engagement shopping platform API, aimed at helping businesses quickly create and release native retail apps on mobile. Juniper Research, a leading market research firm, has released a new report concerning mobile commerce and its continued growth in the United Kingdom. The HBC Department Store Group has launched a new iOS mobile shopping application for both Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor.  HBC is partnering with Pounce, a consumer-facing mobile app to integrate traditional media with m-commerce, providing customers the opportunity to purchase merchandise displayed in print media using tablets and smartphones.  Read Original Content

Toyota has begun embracing mobile payments. Toyota Financial Services, the financial arm of the automaker, has partnered with Barclays in order to allow drivers to make additional payments on their vehicles through their mobile devices.
