Audi et TTTech présentent des technologies essentielles pour la voiture autonome au CES de Las Vegas

Audi a mis en lumière son concept « Vorsprung durch Technik » (l’avance par la technique) au CES de Las Vegas en présentant les technologies qui seront au cœur de la voiture autonome avec son partenaire technologique TTTech, le principal fournisseur de solutions réseau fiables basées sur une technologie time-triggered et de plates-formes de sécurité modulaires. L’Advanced Driver Assistance System Platform de TTTech permet à Audi d’intégrer tout un éventail de fonctions innovantes avec de multiples niveaux de sécurité-criticité tels que le stationnement ou la conduite autonomes.

La conduite autonome devient rapidement une réalité. En recherchant les technologies de sécurité les meilleures et les plus matures du marché, Audi a identifié les technologies de TTTech pour cette importante innovation automobile il y a plus de dix ans.

Pendant le déroulement de ce partenariat stratégique très fructueux avec Audi, TTTech a développé une technologie réseau Ethernet déterministe (TTEthernet), un middleware (intergiciel) observable et totalement indépendant de l’emplacement (TTIntegration) et une plate-forme de sécurité multi-criticité (TTSafety) avec les leaders des marchés de l’aéronautique, de l’espace et de l’industrie. En particulier, le prochain véhicule spatial de la NASA, la capsule ORION-MPCV (Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle ou véhicule habité multirôle), utilise la technologie TTEthernet de TTTech pour le réseau principal de ses systèmes avioniques. Tout récemment, TTTech a commencé à travailler avec Cisco afin de positionner l'Ethernet Déterministe comme une technologie centrale pour l'Internet des objets en temps réel (Internet of Things ou IoT).

Ces activités ont permis la mise en place d’un écosystème de fournisseurs de semi-conducteurs et de logiciels tels Altera, Infineon Technologies, NVIDIA, NXP, Texas Instruments, Vector Informatik, Wind River et Xilinx, qui soutiennent et contribuent aux éléments clés des plates-formes de réseaux informatiques robustes de premier rang de TTTEch.

Cette coopération entre Audi, TTTech et des fournisseurs innovants de haute technologie pour la voiture autonome démontre la convergence des technologies du contrôle et de l’information. Elle doit aboutir à une plate-forme d’unité de contrôle électronique hautement intégrée appelée zFAS, basée sur un réseau multicœurs complexe. Cette plateforme aura des capacités de fusion de données sophistiquées et toute une gamme de fonctions innovantes avec de multiples niveaux de sûreté-criticité tels que le stationnement ou la conduite autonome.

À cette fin, TTTech et Audi développent une unité de contrôle électronique centrale hautement performante et très avancée », explique Ricky Hudi, Responsable du département Électronique chez AUDI AG. « Elle offrira une performance et une capacité de calcul supérieures à l’ensemble de l’architecture électronique de l’actuelle Audi A4.
