Fair Trading Technology is Now an External Service Provider to Dukascopy Bank's Customers

Fair Trading Technology is now an External Service Provider at one of the leading ECN, Dukascopy Bank, offering customers the ability to integrate the MetaTrader 4 and Dukascopy trading platforms.

BRISTOL, United Kingdom, July 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on the success of their groundbreaking T3 Integration Bridge, Fair Trading Technology is now an External Service Provider at Dukascopy Bank SA, providing customers access to the world's largest liquidity pool through MetaTrader 4.

Fair Trading Technology's T3 Integration Bridge, which was launched last October, was the first to offer a truly transparent MetaTrader 4 to ECN solution with two-way execution. It offers traders straight-through order processing of trades and a transparent order reporting system.

Fair Trading Technology CEO Tim Haman says that becoming a Service Provider of Dukascopy Bank's clients offers a new level of choice to customers, who can now use both MetaTrader 4 and Dukascopy's platforms in a truly integrated way.

"Clients can use both platforms at the same time. They don't have to choose," said Mr. Haman. "To use each platform's strength at the same time will be something that can increase the value of MetaTrader 4."

The technology used in most MetaTrader bridges has historically been quite archaic, said Fair Trading technology co-founder McLean Van Cleve. In contrast, the T3 Integration Bridge was built from the ground-up from the hardware and IT infrastructure to innovations on the software side, combining to create unparalleled reliability and speed of execution.

"It solves almost all of the limitations that the MetaTrader 4 Bridge once had so that MetaTrader 4 can be a fully functional and integrated part of a brokerage, not limited by historical problems," said Mr. Van Cleve.

Mr. Haman said that Dukascopy was a perfect match for Fair Trading Technology, which has built its reputation around transparency.

"Dukascopy is the only transparent broker on the market and we are implementing MetaTrader 4 trading platform with full transparency so that customers can see both platforms, which is a strength from both the MetaTrader 4 and Dukascopy's perspective," said Mr. Haman.

Dukascopy's place as one of the world's largest liquidity providers will also offer MetaTrader 4 traders new opportunities they may not have previously had access to.

"Integrating MetaTrader 4 from Fair Trading Technology into that liquidity will increase the profitable trading scenarios for clients and for automatic trading through EAs," said Mr. Haman.

At the end of the day, though, Mr. Van Cleve says the main advantage traders will gain is choice.

"With two-way execution, you are not limited to one trading platform," said Mr. Van Cleve. "If there is something you like about one trading platform, with two-way execution, we bring a more all-encompassing solution rather than just a bridge."

Fair Trading Technology is a technology provider of transparent trading platforms. It is the first company ever to deliver a totally transparent MetaTrader to true ECN trading bridge with two way-execution at the world's largest Swiss ECN, the SWFX Marketplace of Dukascopy Bank.

Dukascopy Bank SA is one of the leaders in the foreign exchange industry, specialised in spot forex. It aims at fulfilling market needs for advanced technological solutions to traders.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
